Part 2 in a series of sermons given during the spriritual growth program, "Building Healthy Relationships". Observation and diagnosis come before the cure. We can't heal our relationships until we have identified what we contribute that is harmful or unhealthy. In the Sermon on the Mount we learn about our inner life - our thoughts and intentions. Our task is to observe our intentions to see if they are driven by resentments, unhealthy desires, pretenses or negative motivations; and identify one or two of our relationships that have negative characteristics so we can work toward healing them.
